The Role:

The Program Manager, Sales Operations reports to the Global Sales Operations Director and plays a critical role in enabling our sellers and partners to win against key competitors across multiple market segments that Juniper Networks serves. This is an individual contributor role that requires strong business acumen, keen attention to detail and ability to understand sales and business objectives. This role requires an entrepreneurial and creative skilled approach in order to work skillfully and collaboratively with the Field sales and Channel sales teams, key cross-functional business including, Marketing, Human Resources, Product Management, Legal, Finance and vendors.

In this role, you will own the orchestration and program management of many initiatives supporting the GTM Sales Organization and responsible for driving the bid management strategy and execution for Juniper. The ideal candidate will be expected to resolve time-sensitive issues with a high degree of precision and exhibit strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Develop bid management best practices and process to enable GTM Sales Organization with the most up-to-date, sanctioned, quality content libraby for all bid responses
  • Partner with bid managers to develop a process to incorporate the internal RFP tool to drive faster response times, quicker turnaround times with cross functional point of contacts and enhance the overall user experience
  • Drive automation and AI-generated approach into the overall bid workflow from the release to final proposal submission
  • Develop detailed project plans, clear process for engagement with content owners, clarify intent and goals and ensure consistency in bid management strategy
  • Streamlining existing bid management processes to allow expansion into other areas of the deal cycle
  • Identifying gaps and analyzing sales needs in existing program processes and proposing solutions
  • Compile and manage quarterly success metrics and reporting on programs and processes
  • Acquires and retains broad understanding of legal, compliance, bid management, contract management, and internal processes to mitigate risk to company
  • Responsible for providing coordination and development of training curriculum, communication and other enablement functions for awareness and adoption on new programs or processes
  • Design and launch bi-annual content governance on all bid content including gaining executive level approvals, maintaining metrics and tracking, process documentation, and tool implementation

Who Are You:

Your Experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience in the technology industry
  • Experience in program / project management
  • BA or BS, with MBA or equivalent experience preferred

  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a collaborative manner
  • Able to prioritize, focus, and execute through obstacles
  • Outstanding presentation, verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage and execute at the detail level
  • Ability to multi-task and drive cross functional team to meet common goals
  • Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint), and Salesforce (SFDC) is a plus
  • Ability to travel >25%

Minimum Salary: $123,750.00

Maximum Salary:$189,750.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $123,750.00 and $189,750.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
