A Structural Analysis Engineer job with Belcan Engineering Group is currently available in Lexington KY or via remote support. This job is a full-time direct position or contract. To be considered for this role, you will need Bachelor"s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent, and experience in structural analysis. In this job your primary responsibility will be classical hand calculations and finite element analysis.

Structural Analyst job duties:
*Perform structural analysis for factory production in support of nonconformances, modifications, and production irregularities using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as well as hand calculations
*Interact and be the primary point of contact with Belcan"s customers
*Liaise with other teams as required
*Manage your own project work and provide mentorship to others
*Maintain strong communication with client, internal project manager, and other stakeholders as required

Minimum Qualifications:
*Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
*Five or more years of experience performing structural analysis and possess strong technical ability
*Solid understanding of structural load paths and failure modes
*Proficient hand calculations skills and finite element analysis capabilities using Ansys (FEA)
*Static and fatigue analysis experience
*Ability to work independently, while adhering to strict timelines
*Mentoring experience
*Experience taking control of a task from start to finish
*Must have good interpersonal skills and willing to work in a team environment
*Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Must have excellent computer skills
*Legal authorization to work in the US required
*Travel to customer and work site locations as required

Preferred Qualifications:
*Rocket engine analysis experience
*Experience with programing languages
*Experience working for a launch vehicle OEM

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $90,000 to $120,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
