Combatant Command Trauma System Nurse Liaison

***This position requires an active Secret clearance.***

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen, lawful resident alien, citizen of American.

The Combatant Command Trauma System Nurse Liaison, a contractor, holds an active nursing license in the U.S. with 10+ years of trauma care experience, preferably in Level 1 or 2 trauma ERs. They maintain and update JTS Clinical Practice Guidelines, facilitate reviews, and collaborate with teams to develop new guidelines.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Combatant Command Trauma System Nurse Liaison: $80,000 - $100,000.

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Combatant Command Trauma System Nurse Liaison Responsibilities Include:

  • Contractor employees performing these services shall have an active, unrestricted nursing license in one of the fifty U.S. states, U.S. territories, or the District of Columbia. The Contractor employee will have a background in trauma care, with at least 10 years clinical and education experience. Trauma experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma Emergency Room is preferred.
  • The Contractor shall maintain the current listing of all JTS Clinical Practice Guidelines CPG) with date of last review, and work with the JTS Webmaster to keep the JTS website listing current.
  • The Contractor shall identify CPG that require review and or updating and follow tracking of all reviewers and authors and keep the review process moving along to meet annual and biannual suspense's.
  • The Contractor shall work with the DCOT and PI teams to identify new CPG requirements, rm an initial literature review and establish the working template and identify reasonable authors to start the process.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Combatant Command Trauma System Nurse Liaison Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Hold an active nursing license.
  • WOrk is performed on site (SIPR room 4 to 5 days a week).
  • Trauma Systems focus is required
  • Public health/preventive medicine degree is preferred over critical care or trauma experience.
  • Former military, recent deployment or INDO-PACOM experience
  • Performance Improvement experience desirable.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
