  • Teach best practices through a combination of hands on engagement and other techniques

  • Identify and troubleshoot technical challenges, find solutions that optimize flow, reduce length of feedback cycles, and promote continuous learning and experimentation

  • Explore and embrace new technologies and processes, including AI integration into development and operational workflows

  • Collaborate with others and contribute to a positive and productive team environment

  • Evaluation of different solutions and selection of the best approaches for a given situation based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative feedback

Experience you'll bring

  • Solid understanding of software design principles such as domain-driven design

  • Deep knowledge of patterns for managing source code branches such as trunk-based development

  • Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools such as behavior-driven development

  • Practical experience with helping teams achieve continuous delivery outcomes

  • Interest in learning and staying up-to-date with the latest development trends and technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI)

  • A desire to not just develop, but to help others grow in their development practices

  • Willingness to experiment and take calculated risks to learn from failures and iterate on solutions

Background/Certifications:

  • Strong proficiency in either the development technology stack or the infrastructure and deployment tooling (preferably both) for a particular line of business

  • Strong understanding of the business domain and the challenges faced by the organization to develop solutions that address real needs

  • A history of strong communication and collaboration with other engineers, data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Experience with agile methodologies will be highly beneficial as you strive to improve delivery velocity and quality

  • Prior exposure to AI or machine learning can be advantageous for identifying potential applications in the development lifecycle

  • A passion for continuous learning and improvement is crucial for individuals who will be key players in adopting new technologies and fostering a culture of innovation
