Software Dev Engineer - Software Dev Engineer I

Job Description
Job Description: The Subscriptions Payments and Fraud Mitigation team is responsible for being innovative and building mechanisms to counter various types of fraud to reduce financial impact. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to build full stack solutions including; designing, implementation and testing. If you're passionate about launching end to end features which directly impact growth of business and working on Native AWS and various full stack technologies this job would be a perfect fit for you.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Developing monitoring solutions
- Troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, JAVA)
- Performing SQL queries
- Improving our systems that gather metrics on our features
- Updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges
Responsibilities also include:
- Working alongside development on Corporate and Divisional Software projects
- Updating/enhancing our current software
- Automation of support processes and documentation of our systems
- The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications.
- They must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure.
Preferred skills:
- Other desired technical skills include Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, UNIX/LINUX.
- A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
