The Senior Director, Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS develops and implements functional strategies and specific objectives to drive execution of the core Human Resource practice areas of Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS and supports planning and development of Human Resource strategic initiatives to drive organizational performance.
Primary Objectives
  • Execute Human Resource strategies in support of enterprise-wide goals and initiatives; communicate priorities and drive and coordinate execution of initiatives.
  • Develop and lead a successful Human Resource team that is positioned as credible, proactive, and trusted thought-partners that competently and effectively deliver core services and results.
  • Develop and oversee implementation of enterprise-wide benefits and compensation strategies to attract, retain, and motivate top talent while ensuring competitiveness within the market.
  • Oversee implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of HRIS platforms to support the organization's human resources functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive benefits and compensation strategies aligned with the organization's values and objectives. Continuously assess market trends, industry benchmarks, and best practices to enhance the competitiveness of our offerings.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of all employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other fringe benefits. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and effective communication of benefits to employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate benefits and compensation programs with broader talent management initiatives, such as performance management, talent acquisition, and employee engagement.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and brokers to optimize the delivery of benefits and compensation services. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and legal requirements related to benefits and compensation. Develop and monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as internal governance standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their benefits and compensation inquiries. Develop educational materials and leverage technology solutions to enhance employee understanding and engagement.
  • Utilize data analytics tools and metrics to assess the effectiveness of benefits and compensation programs.
  • Collaborate closely with HR team members, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure that HR systems align with organizational objectives and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee data integrity within HRIS databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee information, organizational hierarchies, and compliance-related data.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing HRIS functionalities, streamline processes, and improve user experience through system customization and integration with other platforms.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry best practices related to HR data management, privacy, and security, ensuring HRIS compliance with relevant laws and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports, analytics, and dashboards to support HR decision-making, workforce planning, and regulatory reporting requirements. Generate reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive effective change management, project planning, communication, and resource alignment protocols to maximize adoption and successful implementation of Human Resource initiatives.
  • Manage impact analyses, change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
  • Lead, develop, and manage assigned Human Resources teams; develop and promote positive, values-driven culture through effective management and leadership practices.
  • Develop and manage assigned Human Resources operating budgets and control expenses effectively.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Education
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or equivalent combination of coursework and experience in human resources or directly related field required
  • Master's degree preferred.
Required Work Experience
  • 10+ years' progressive human resources management experience required.
  • 5+ years' performing at senior or executive levels required.
  • Experience with implementation and management of HRIS required.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, except as prohibited by law.

The applicable salary range is aligned to one of 5 zones according to a cost of labor index for the geographic location of the role. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include related experience, education and training, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is set forth below. Ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone 1: Starting rate $200,000; up to $259,500 for highly qualified candidates.
This job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.
Annual Incentive Opportunity: 25% of eligible compensation.
