1st shift Monday -Friday 9:30AM - 6:00PM

About the role:
The prime focus of the Manufacturing Technician is to provide the day to day technical and mechanical support of equipment for the Distribution Center. The manufacturing technician will also assist in establishing and coordinating corrective/preventive maintenance activities for Production/Operations equipment within the Quincy site. Manufacturing Technician will interact with team members from Production, Operations, Engineering Support, Quality, Facilities, and Safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performs scheduled and unscheduled Equipment Preventative maintenance.
  • Prioritizes, troubleshoots and repairs production and non-production equipment.
  • Drives the troubleshooting and corrective action effort for equipment issues in designated area.
  • Coordinates with outside service providers as needed. Establishes service agreement for maintenance activities. Ensures PM/CM activities completed and documented as required and on schedule.
  • Works with Engineers to validate and release Equipment and new processes. Generates, executes and releases of validation documentation in Windchill.
  • Reviews and updates Preventative Maintenance Specifications as needed, based on observation and historical data to proactively resolve equipment issues.
  • Identifies, procures and maintains equipment spare parts inventory.
  • Maintains Equipment Files within Computerized Maintenance Management System, following site and global procedures as necessary.
  • Identifies additional or new vendors to identify and acquire necessary suppliers, materials, equipment and tools for continues improvement.
  • Other tasks as directed by the Production Manager or Quincy Site Leadership.

Required qualifications:

  • 3 Years with Associate in Arts degree/diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
