Job Description
The Women's Softball Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting with all aspects of an NCAA Division I Women's Softball program including, but not limited to, on field duties of hitting, infield or outfield; the identification and recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes; supporting the academic limited to, the identification and recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes; supporting the academic progress of student-athletes; preparing and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competition; fostering the academic, athletic, and personal growth of student-athletes; organizing team and staff travel arrangements; facilitating administrative duties, paperwork, video and scouting; managing the distribution and ordering of team equipment and supplies; coordinating and administering special softball events; managing and supervising facility maintenance and representing the sports program as needed in association with promoting and fundraising for the program.

The full salary range for the Assistant Coach - Softball is $38,700 - $61,900 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $42,000 - $48,000. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
