In this dynamic role, you'll be at the heart of transforming grapes into exquisite wine, influencing every stage from the vineyard to the consumer's glass. Your responsibilities will include managing winery workflow processes with precision, conducting wine trials and experiments, and ensuring the highest quality of wine production. You'll collaborate closely with production personnel, conducting operational audits, and participating in wine tastings to fine-tune our offerings. Your expertise will also guide the strategic management of grape receiving, wine production operations, and the meticulous preparation of wines for shipping or bottling. As a key player in our team, you'll support the continuous improvement of our winemaking processes and procedures, fostering strong cross-functional relationships and embracing changes with agility. What You Will Need:

  • Bachelors in Science or Engineering plus 1 year of enology, winemaking, viticulture, or chemistry experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
  • Candidates for this position must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Required to obtain a California driver's license or appropriate state driver's license within 30 days of hire.
  • Required to lift and move up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Required to possess the color vision necessary to judge and evaluate wine color.
  • Required to taste and evaluate wines.
  • Required to be 21 years of age or older due to wine tasting.
  • High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $67,000 - $100,400 / year
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
