Yoh is looking for an Inventory Specialist to come in and join our Biotech/Pharma client for their state of the art manufacturing building.

The ideal individual will come in with inventory management as well as data analytics expereince.

Industry: Bio Tech/manufacturing (Supply Chain)
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Compensation: $23-26/hour DOE
Type: 6 month Contract
Schedule: 7:30am-4pm, M-F w/ opportunity for OT

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts in our warehouse/3PLs to ensure inventory accuracy

• Reconcile and perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies
• Conduct frequent inventory audits of physical inventory
• Accurately enter data and perform inventory transactions with the ERP system with a high level of detail
• Monitor, analyze, and improve key metrics related to inventory management.
• Assist in support tasks, projects, and initiatives to keep inventory locations secured, organized, and supplied
• Comply with all company, environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
• Maintain and follow inventory controls and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and SOX regulations

• High School Diploma required; Degree in supply chain or data analytics field preferred
• 1+ years of experience in inventory management + data analysis
• Comprehensive, hands on knowledge of distribution & warehousing processes, inventory control, and best practices
• Must be able to work well in a collaborative team environment and be willing to grow and learn
• Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials up to 50-70lbs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Applications and relevant warehouse management ERP software (Oracle Preferred)
