We are looking for a Regional Manager of Responsible Sourcing for the Americas to advise and execute sustainability strategies, corporate goals, and programs across North & South America (i.e. Mexico, Brazil, US, Nicaragua, Columbia, and Dominican Republic).You will partner with internal stakeholders to manage risk and drive focus and efficiency with supply chain partners. Externally you will engage with regional industry players to advance initiatives, programs and manage risk.

This role is based in Los Angeles and you will report into our Senior Director of Acceleration and Responsible Sourcing.

About the Job:

  • Manage and execute LS&CO.'s Supplier Code of Conduct (SCOC) and strategic programs in North and South America supplier base.

  • Manage regional team members to establish targets for suppliers, measure progress, and collaborate with SME's on performance and reporting.

  • Work with Sr. Director and SMEs to develop Capacity Building programs and engagement to ensure LS&CO. is addressing most pressing capacity building needs in its supply chain and optimizing common industrial programs e.g. Industry Summit, ILOBW.

  • Manage relationship with regional external partners (e.g., industry groups, other brands, NGOs, Trade Unions), and support Corporate Affairs in addressing regional concerns and queries from Media/International NGOs.

Key Results:

Supply Chain

  • Provide support in advancing the Responsible Sourcing strategy and verify that all LS&CO approved Tier-1 and Tier-2 manufacturers follow SCOC requirements.

  • Work on implementation of Responsible Sourcing programs on material issues, Worker Well-Being and Social impact issues e.g., purchasing practices and Gender Equality.

  • Embed Responsible Sourcing practices, and targets into LS&Co Supply chain functions.

  • Collaborate with SSMs, Beyond Yoga, Commercial Operations, and Local Licensee partners to analyze supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and evaluate progress.

  • Increase the uptake of industry tools and programs e.g., SLCP, ILO Better Work, Higg FEM.

Capacity Building

  • Ensure that supply chain functions and suppliers are following company standards and programs through education, training, incentive, and other systems.

  • Work with external partners to enhance supplier management systems and worker training/capacity building to ensure continuous improvement on social and environmental standards.

  • Provide periodic education to SSM and Suppliers on Supplier Code of Conduct requirements and program initiatives.

Data Management and External Engagement

  • Manage data collection and tracking systems within Americas supply chain.

  • Work with supplier partners to ensure accurate reporting on LS&CO. data requirements e.g. Higg FEM, Worldly and Intelex.

  • Investigate any allegations against the reputation of LS&Co concerning labor rights and other sustainability activities and provide recommendations to resolve it.

  • Engage with suppliers, SSM, local NGOs/TUs, and brands on labor and environmental issues in high risk countries e.g.Trade Unions busting in Mexico.

About You:

  • Bachelor/master's degree in social science, labor relations or Sustainability with specialization in Labor and Environment affairs.

  • 08-10 years experience in the same or related field with other brands, retailers, or reputed consulting firms.

  • Knowledge of industry tools and programs e.g., SLCP, ILO Better Work, Higg FEM.

  • Experience managing responsible sourcing operations across different departments at the local, regional, and global level.

  • Knowledge of textile industry, local laws and other legislations.

  • English and Spanish professional proficiency

The expected starting salary range for this role is $96,600 - $146,200. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
