The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Keysight's campus in Santa Rosa, CA exists to provide mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of Keysight's industry leading electronic measurement equipment. As a machinist you will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes and multi-axis mill turn machines. Working closely with R&D on microwave applications, you will influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensure design for manufacturability, facilitate release and support production.

Qualifications:

Keysight is looking for a highly motivated Journeyman with advanced machining skills. This position will require an Expert level Machinist with a knack for precision and detail. Must have the willingness to learn, team player, positive attitude, dedication, and work schedule flexibility. In addition, you will interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production Schedulers. You will have the opportunity to operate a variety of precision machining equipment.This is a Swing shift position.Experience with any/all the following is highly desired:* Swiss Style Lathe Machines (Star and or Citizen machine experience preferred).* CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software (Esprit, NX experience preferred).* Manual Tool Grinding* Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
* Long hand programming for Turning applications that don't currently have CAM software support.

Pay Range:

USD $64,470.00 - USD $107,440.00 Year

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
