Job Description

CoffmanEngineers'Anchorageofficeisseekinga self-motivated, creative, Cathodic Protection Technician who would like to work and grow as a team player within our multi-discipline firm. This position offers flexible schedule options for either full or seasonal work. The successful individual will have a strong work ethic as well as experience collaborating in a team environment.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Performing Cathodic Protection Surveys for various structures (pipelines, docks, etc.)
  • Performing Close Interval Surveys
  • Assisting with Internal Corrosion Evaluations & Monitoring
  • Locating pipelines and performing depth of cover surveys
  • Atmospheric Corrosion Control Inspections
  • Preparing technical reports

This position is not eligible for sponsorship. This position is on-site, in person.

Qualifications

Requirements Include:

  • NACE CP2 Technician certification or greater required
  • 2 years minimum of cathodic protection experience is required
  • College degree preferred
  • Oil and gas, department of defense (DOD), and water/wastewater cathodic protection experience preferred
  • Ability to perform domestic and international travel, perform extended field work, and work overtime
  • Exceptional organization, writing and communication skills
  • Competency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets Coffman's stringent requirements
  • Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) or eligibility to obtain a TWIC
