  • Collaborate with Product Management to capture and prioritize technical feature requests based on MSP feedback.
  • Partner with MSP Account Executives to target and engage strategic clients, articulating the value proposition of Commvault Cloud and driving opportunities to closure.
  • Showcase the technical value of Commvault Cloud through compelling presentations, demos, proof-of-concepts, and onboarding assistance.
  • Distill complicated technical concepts into clear messages that highlight how Commvault Cloud addresses MSPs' business, operational, and financial challenges.
  • Collaborate with MSPs in a consultative manner to develop market-ready Backup as a Service (BaaS) offerings on the Commvault MSP Platform.
  • Engage with senior-level MSP leadership independently, understanding their key technical and business difficulties to position Commvault Cloud effectively.
  • Foster enduring relationships with technical decision-makers within MSP accounts to drive ongoing happiness and adoption.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to our MSP partners, aligning Commvault's capabilities with their current and future managed services roadmap.
  • Cultivate evangelists among MSPs and customers, driving continuous adoption and expansion of services.
  • Provide deployment assistance and leverage standard methodologies to ensure successful onboarding and end-user engagement.
  • Keep senior management and internal partners informed of key developments and challenges, facilitating alignment and informed decision-making.
  • Effectively communicate MSP needs, product feedback, and process improvements to relevant internal teams.
  • Stay abreast of evolving industry trends and technologies through continuous learning, training, and certifications.

Who you are...

  • 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, preferably in the SaaS or Managed Services industry, with a strong preference for 2+ years in Data Protection or Business Continuity solutions. Commvault experience a plus.

  • Familiarity with enterprise applications like SAP, Oracle, Exchange, and Office 365.
  • Proven track record in selling and architecting SaaS data management solutions, including backup and recovery, data migration, and cloud security.
  • Basic understanding of transitioning software licensing practices from perpetual to subscription and utility models.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and responsibilities.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to articulate complicated concepts in a business context.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in presentations and relationship-building.
  • Experience using tools like Salesforce.com for process and information organization.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred, coupled with proven technical experience in the IT industry.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, TAS, SPIN, Solution Selling, or Challenger.
  • Comfortable working remotely and autonomously, with a willingness to travel approximately 20-30% depending on location.
