We're looking for an experienced leader with a passion for event management and creating impactful experiences. Our ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of experience in B2B event management and bring a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of creating, planning, and executing both small- and large-scale events that align with the company's vision and objectives. Key strengths include exceptional communication skills and a keen eye for detail. The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, manage competing priorities with ease, and get creative when problem-solving will make you the ideal candidate for this role.

The Successful Candidate Will be Responsible For:

  • Heading a team of skilled event managers, with strategic oversight of the entire event program.

  • Ensuring flawless execution of a variety of events both small and large-scale, from our flagship, worldwide user's conference to industry tradeshows, seminars, and sales kickoffs.

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to design event programs that engage attendees, foster networking opportunities, and meet business objectives.

  • Creating and managing event budgets, balancing cost-effectiveness with a high-quality event experience.

  • Managing relationships with agencies and production partners.

  • Conducting in-depth post-event evaluations, gathering feedback, and analyzing data to drive improvements for future events.

The Skills and Qualifications You'll Need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

  • Over 10 years of experience in B2B event management, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to thrive under pressure and in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

  • Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20-30 percent of the time.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and event management platforms like CVENT.

  • An understanding of the evolving role of events in the digital era.

  • Proficiency with analytics and data to determine event ROI metrics.

The Team You'll Be a Part Of:The Global Marketing and Communication Group leads Synopsys'

strategy and execution for elevating the company brand and external communications, driving leadership for Synopsys products & solutions, and contributing to revenue growth through data-driven analytics. You will join an energetic team of experienced event managers, where you will provide strategic direction for our global events.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $177,000 - $265,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. Synopsys offers comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits as part of a of a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
