Essential Duties:
- Aid in developing Assembly Process Improvements
- Tooling Design and Development
- Develop standard work
- Spearhead continuous improvement projects
- Research and document current standards and processes to be used as bench mark data for further improvements.
- Assist with documentation and standardization of quality tools and devices
- Utilize technical skills to troubleshoot and improve automated assembly processes
Knowledge & Skills Summary:
- AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Navisworks, SolidWorks experience preferred
- Ability to work with people in an industrial environment
- High energy level; comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
- Superior interpersonal abilities and ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful; mature; flexible
- Good reasoning abilities
- Good communication skills
- Resourceful and well organized
- Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, but be able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities
- Results and people oriented, but have sound judgment; ability to balance other business considerations, service oriented, but assertive/persuasive
Education and Experience:
- Working toward Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering Degree
