What you'll do:

The Credit Administration Risk Analyst position works alongside the Technology & Innovation Lending team, with a mandate to participate in a variety of credit monitoring activities to help track and inform credit officers and senior managers of borrower financial condition, risk, and potential red flags. This opportunity provides exposure to the Technology Lending industry, credit risk management, and complex capital structures.

What we are looking for:

  • For the Technology & Innovation Lending portfolio, perform interim and ongoing monitoring of various Key Risk Indicators, including but not limited to Remaining Months Liquidity, Performance to Plan, Sales Growth, Investor Support, Trend Analysis, etc.

  • Work collaboratively with the Technology Loan Officers in tracking certain activities entailed in the Loan Presentation and provide timely risk identification update to Credit Officer.

  • Assist Technology Loan Officers in preparing the Risk Rating Determination, followed by tracking of actionable items.

  • Conduct ongoing financial analysis of borrowers to capture trend, credit quality and red flags.

  • Assist Technology Loan Officers in loan documentation and ongoing monitoring of reporting, covenant and compliance.

  • Participate in and document results from borrower management and investor update calls.

  • Compile and create reports for credit risk management, portfolio-level analytics, and concentration analysis.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four (4) year college or university, and a minimum ofthree (3) years or more related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Related experience should consist of an in-depth background in financial statement analysis.

  • Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be applicable to the financial industry.

  • Must demonstrate knowledge of basic accounting principles and concepts, credit principles and general credit policies.

  • Some familiarity with financial statements, financial analysis, ratios, trends, borrowing base calculation, etc.

  • Proficient in the use of computers and software programs such as Excel and MS Word. Experience with banking industry programs (i.e., Moody's, Baker Hill) a plus.

  • Must be detail and focus oriented and have the ability to take ownership and responsibility for work product.

  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision while performing duties.

Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $30.00 for Denver, CO. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
