Work Location: In Office, Hartland, WI

Compensation: $124,000-$196,000

Job Purpose:

The Director of Organizational Development is a strategic leader who plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment, enhancing employee engagement, and driving organizational growth and effectiveness through comprehensive talent management initiatives. The Director will provide oversight to and support for the HR team and will lead efforts in succession planning, employee development, and performance management to ensure alignment with the organization's goals and values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Honor Commitments:

  • Develop and implement talent management strategies that align with organizational objectives and honor commitments to employee growth and development.

  • Ensure fair and equitable performance management processes are in place to honor commitments to employee feedback and recognition.

Create Positive Experiences:

  • Cultivate a positive work environment through effective communication, employee engagement initiatives, and responsive HR policies and practices.

Foster Lifelong Learning:

  • Lead efforts in succession planning to identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership roles, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and career growth.

  • Collaborate with department heads to assess training needs, develop training plans, and coordinate learning opportunities to enhance employee skills and competencies.

Exhibit a Pioneering Spirit:

  • Working closely with the JX Talent Acquisition Team, develop innovative approaches to recruiting and retention strategies, leveraging new technologies and best practices to attract top talent and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

  • Explore new approaches to performance management and employee development, championing a pioneering spirit of continuous improvement and adaptation.

Demonstrate Good Stewardship:

  • Develop and implement performance management processes and tools to align with organizational goals and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Lead efforts in succession planning to identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership roles, ensuring the organization has a robust talent pipeline to support long-term growth and sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a focus on organizational development, talent management, and training.

  • 10 years of leadership experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.

  • Strong knowledge in multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • High-performers will have the desire to influence through collaboration and have the ability to show evidence of being highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency in their past roles.

  • Ability to travel to our branch locations.

Education
Bachelors of Human Resource Administration (preferred)

Experience
10 years: Progressive experience in Human Resources, with a focus on organizational development, talent management, and training. (preferred)
