Job Description
UC Riverside's Auxiliary Services is recruiting for the Projects Coordinator, Finance and Business Operations. The full salary range for the Projects Coordinator, Finance and Business Operations is $71,100 - $128,700 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $85,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Auxiliary Services comprises seven (7) units, within a combined budget of over $130 million, 400+ career staff, 1000+ student staff, and over 2.6 million in building square feet on 160 acres. The operations include: Auxiliary Finance and Business Operations (AFBO); Auxiliary Facilities, Campus Business Services (CBS); Center for Early Childhood Education (CECE); Housing Services; Dining and Hospitality Services; and Transportation Services. As part of the Auxiliary Finance and Business Operations (AFBO), this position reports directly to the Senior Director and involves advanced level analytical studies and application of critical thought processes on a variety of projects, programs, and improvement endeavors in support of Auxiliary Services at large. Responsible for overseeing multiple administrative initiatives and projects that involve clear understanding of financial analysis, reconciliation and impact, along with implementation of project management controls to help reach a successful end result and/or recommendation to project sponsor(s). Works closely with staff across the organization on needs, potential gaps, improvement of current resource usage and areas of optimization. Takes initiative to evaluate and update methods and processes notably where monetary or labor savings may be achieved. Using various programs, systems and data sources, develops reports, ROI and actionable metrics for tracking and implementation to the requestor and/or end user. Develops training for staff as needed. Assists Auxiliary Services units with seeking out potential grant funding opportunities and drafting applications that may include pertinent data, narratives and reports. Uses professional concepts to apply University policies and procedures to oversee ongoing administrative, analytical, and operational issues of complex scope. May oversee student staff assistants.
