PURPOSE
As a Litho Process Technician, the candidate will be responsible to execute engineering projects and support the production line.
Shift: D-Shift (6:00PM - 6:15AM, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, every other Saturday.)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supports process development activities in the engineering group.
  • The candidate will take minimum information, generate test run documents and execute experiments from start to finish, and writes reports on the results.
  • Supports operations and production, including the areas of photolithography, thin films, and etch.
  • Candidate will be 1st contact for process or tool issues, trouble shoot and fix the issue, and report results to engineering.
  • Writes and implements operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Performs set-up, calibration and qualification tasks on wafer fabrication equipment.
  • Collects and evaluates operating data to ensure process optimization and to conduct on-line equipment adjustment.
  • Uses software tools to track and control wafers through the production process.
  • Trains other technicians and operators on tools, processes, and to develop technical skills, teamwork, and leadership.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required if excellent track record as litho tech can be demonstrated.
  • Substantial hands-on experience as litho tech in a wafer-fab required.
  • Experienced in problem solving and debugging of process and tool issues.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $30.09 and $40.63. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
