Bruker Nano, one of Bruker's four operating segments, provides customers in academic and governmental institutions, life science, materials, and applied industries with the tools to determine the characteristics of matter and visualize the structure of molecules. We are looking for an experienced Assembler to join our production team in Santa Barbara, CA.

Follow assembly documentation and build precision electro mechanical assemblies to print
• Perform precision soldering
• Use production tooling and test equipment
• Calibrate laser assemblies using digital voltmeters and oscilloscopes
• Interface with R&D and M.E. to provide detailed feedback on product build and test issues, and aid in new product release
• Work both independently and as a team member to best help keep up with production schedules
• Request parts from stock utilizing appropriate methods
• Other duties as assigned

• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
• 2 to 3 years of college training preferred
• Minimum of 5 years' experience building high level electromechanical assemblies

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $25/hr and $30/hr and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
