Responsibilities

We are currently offering a new opportunity in Bruker's Corporate sustainability team. This unit will facilitate central coordination, organization, communication, and execution of sustainability reporting across Bruker. The position as Sustainability Specialist is responsible to own Bruker's sustainability reporting related data and tool infrastructure, facilitate compliance with sustainability regulations, and define and maintain ESG KPIs for internal tracking and external reporting. This position will be based in Billerica, Massachusetts. Qualifications

Take ownership for:

    Bruker-wide sustainability reporting management approach, especially owning data collection tool(s)
  • Data collection mechanisms, e.g. updating data collection templates, ensuring data completeness and consistency for annual sustainability reporting.
  • Bruker-wide sustainability reporting policies and
  • Understand key value drivers in Environmental, Social, and Governance areas, and propose tailored KPIs for tracking and reporting.
  • Act as contact person for ESG compliance topics, closely monitoring the latest sustainability laws and regulations in the US and Europe, and their implications for Bruker.
    • Provide regular updates and insights on regulatory changes and global sustainability trends to the sustainability team and executive leadership.
    • Collaborate closely with other corporate functions to ensure coherence.
    • Support the Sustainability Manager in other sustainability topics as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in Sustainability/ESG reporting, policy, or process development
  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to Sustainability, Finance, General Management or similar.
  • Experience with technical platforms and databases, such as SAP or financial reporting systems
  • Knowledgeable in ESG regulatory and compliance topics, especially for US and EU legislation
  • Sound understanding of common ESG frameworks and standards, such as GRI, SASB, SBTi
  • Experience with project and stakeholder management
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, including interdepartmental and senior level stakeholder interaction.
  • Must be driven, detail orientated, organized, and be able to multitask.
  • Strong team player who is open to cross-functional collaboration
  • Actively works to ensure that decisions are made after all relevant inputs and considerations are properly weighted.
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated ability to convert insights into actions.
  • Proficiency in German a plus but not required.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
