Coffman Engineers is seeking aLand Development Civil Engineerwith one (1) to five (5) years of experience. The ideal candidate should have experience in land development and general site engineering. This position provides the opportunity for career advancement, technical mentorship, and will help you develop as an engineering professional. Our Bay Area team often works with Coffman offices from around the country which provides a wide variety of interesting projects. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team, and be willing to have fun.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Approximate Base Salary -$72,000.00 - $100,000.00annuallybased on experience.
• Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
• Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
• Hybrid Work Schedule(subject to change).
• 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Registration as an E.I.T. preferred.
• 1-5 years of experience in civil design and land development.
• Experience in general site engineering from project entitlements and preliminary design through construction documents, working with senior level engineers, collaborating with other engineering disciplines and architects, visiting construction sites, and providing technical assistance during design and construction.
• Design experience in the preparation of site layouts, grading plans, storm water management facilities, water quality best management practices, ADA accessibility, and site utilities, and other associated improvements.
• Able to perform engineering calculations for hydrology, stormwater, utilities, and earthwork.
• 1-5years' experience of current Civil 3D and AutoCAD experience is a must.
• The ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working with counterparts in other offices to share workload when required.
• A positive, can-do attitude
