Material Handler (Contract)
Location: Santa Clara, CA
(on-site)
Job Term: Full-time Contract (~3-6 months)
The Opportunity:
The Material Handler will be responsible for a variety of activities related to receiving, distributing, storing, mail and/or other materials to meet company standards of quality, customer service, safety, and productivitiy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Issues materials for internal purchase requests.
  • Executes ERP system transactions to ensure inventory accuracy and maintains internal databases accuracy.
  • Communicates proactively with production, purchasing, and warehousing teams.
  • Perform and report cycle counts.
  • Utilize ERP system to track and monitor materials while investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintains and manages production inventory areas.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. to 60 lbs. must be able to package 50 lbs. systems.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of warehousing/shipping/distribution/materials activities.
  • Experience with ERP systems and computer literacy. NetSuite experience a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (verbal and written).
  • High degree of responsibility and ownership.
  • Ability to solve problems independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in school or work.
  • 5-10 years' experience required.
Salary:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $50,000 - $65,000. Your base salary will be determined based on the location, experience, qualification, skills, knowledge, level, and pay of employees in similar positions.
