The National Clinician Consultation Center (NCCC) at the Department of Family & Community Medicine provides immediate, state-of-the-art HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, and substance use consultation and guidance to health care providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists and other health care professionals) across the country through multiple telephone and online consultation services. Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

Department Description
The National Clinician Consultation Center (NCCC) at the Department of Family & Community Medicine (FCM) provides immediate, state-of-the-art HIV/AIDS-related clinical consultation to health care providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists and other health care professionals) across the country through six telephone and online consultation services: * HIV/AIDS Management Consultation Service (Warmline): 6:00 am - 5:00 pm PST * Post-Exposure Prophylaxis Consultation Service (PEPline): 6:00 am - 5:00 pm PST * Perinatal HIV Consultation and Referral Service: 24/7 * Hepatitis C Consultation Service: 6:00 am - 5:00 pm PST * Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Consultation Service (PrEPline): 6:00 am - 5:00 pm PST * Substance Use Warmline: 6:00 am - 5:00 pm PST.
