Job Description
Under the close supervision of the Director of Faculty Development and the Chief Financial and Administrative Office in the School of Medicine (SOM), this position will perform administrative and analytical duties in support of SOM operations. Fellows participate in projects and activities that build and strengthen essential administrative skills. Fellows for the academic year 2024/2025 will rotate six months in a clinical department and six months in an administrative department. Fellows will complete projects during their rotation and will attend monthly didactic sessions. The Administrative Fellowship program seeks masters-prepared individuals who wish to develop their management and leadership skills in a fast-paced medical school environment. Fellows participate in projects and activities that build and strengthen essential administrative skills.

Please note: The duration of the position is 12 months. Interested persons will apply online by filling out an application and uploading a resume, a cover letter that includes the expected graduation date, and a statement of purpose. Our anticipated timeline is to accept applications for the 2024-2025 fellowship through January 31, 2024. Conduct interviews and extend offers in Spring 2024 and have an anticipated start date of July 2024.

The salary range for the Administrative Fellow is $49,800 - $84,200 annually. The expected pay scale for this position is up to $64,400 annually. We base placement within these ranges on the individual's qualifications as they relate to this position.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
