In your role as a Mid-Market Account Executive at Datadog, you hold a crucial position in the acquisition of new customers within our emerging enterprise sector comprising of companies with 1000-5000 employees. Your responsibilities encompass a blend of deep research and understanding your target accounts, strategic engagement with key contacts, and the proficient communication of the value offered by Datadog's product. Achieving success in this role is advantageous not only for Datadog but also opens doors for your personal career development within the organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Focus entirely on hunting net-new logo acquisition
  • Own the entire sales cycle from outbound pipeline generation to closed opportunities
  • Leverage tools such as Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo
  • Develop a well-informed hypothesis in order to strategically prospect into your target account list. Our key personas include Chief Technology Officers, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to drive top of funnel activity

  • Experienced in hunting and closing net new logos
  • Able to strategically map out and break into accounts
  • Curious, motivated, and driven as a sales person
  • Bold on the phones and creative in your emails
  • Hold previous experience with MEDDIC, GAP and CoM

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
