What The Role Is

The Senior Analyst, Strategy provides quantitative and qualitative analysis informing enterprise-level decision-making with broad responsibilities in gathering, organizing, interpreting, and reporting large amounts of business performance data, from which the Senior Analyst makes relevant, strategic, and actionable recommendations for consideration by a variety of business managers and executives.

This role leverages knowledge of how economic, competitive, financial, operational and process factors influence an organization's long-term success. This includes structured problem solving for complex and ambiguous issues, tracking key financial data, analysis of business strategies, superior oral and written communication of recommendations, and meticulous project management. The Senior Analyst, Strategy will receive regular professional development and feedback and be expected to grow as a future leader.

What You'll Be Doing

New Business / Organic Growth

  • Support the analysis, evaluation, and development of organic growth areas complementary to core business segments
  • In partnership with other functions, develop presentations and financial models to explore new business opportunities, creative approaches to expanding our product offering or reducing project, corporate, or operating costs

Corporate Development / M&A

  • Conduct research diligence into potential partnership, investment, or acquisition opportunities at the platform or corporate level (excluding project / portfolio)
  • Investigate and provide an analysis of business models, partners, competitors, market sizing, market environment, investment trends, and industry trends

Continuous Improvement

  • Provide thought partnership, best practices, and problem framing (e.g., internal consulting) for functional initiatives focused on org & operational changes
  • Develop financial analysis, discussion materials, or supplemental information to augment our lessons learned / continuous improvement programs

Strategic Initiatives & Special Projects / Other

  • Lead certain key initiatives by providing project management, conceptual & analytical problem solving, preparation of presentation material, and program implementation
  • Dissect business issues, analyze root causes and provide strategic recommendations in a simple yet compelling manner to internal stakeholders and executives
  • Maintain confidentiality & sensitivity with respect to all functions of DEI
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, other technically focused discipline or related program required.
  • Strong and demonstrated comprehension of business concepts and tools (financial statements, break-even, cost benchmarking, pricing, sensitivity analysis, NPV, ROI, etc.).
  • Ability to assertively solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Demonstrated capacity for gathering and scrutinizing data to identify issues, opportunities, patterns, and sustainable business solutions.
  • Able to prepare compelling, high-impact presentations for senior organizational leaders, financiers, and other strategic and functional stakeholders and business partners.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communicator with ability to explain complex information clearly and succinctly and tailor message to audience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, have a bias for action, and deliver results.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product.
  • Ability to uphold standards of complete discretion and confidentiality as well as exercise good judgement and integrity in day-to-day decisions.
  • A positive attitude, highly motivated and the ability to maintain a culture that is based on teamwork, respect and integrity.
  • Proficient at MS Office, with expert-level PowerPoint and Excel skills.

What Would Be Nice
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Policy, or other applicable field for Associate role
  • 2+ years in strategy/management consulting, investment banking/corporate finance or capital markets experience preferred.
  • Some experience in code (e.g., SQL, VBA, R, Python) preferred.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.

Salary Range Across all U.S. Locations
$89,000$123,000 USD
