Position Summary: Central to all manufacturing operations, this position is responsible for accurate serialization and marking at various levels of assembly. Requires a candidate that is self-motivated and detail-oriented. Candidate should be able to assess priorities based on set-up time and scheduled need dates across various programs in addition to completing the marking operations to achieve timely and high quality results. Must be able to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment, completing tasks in accordance with engineering data and work instruction to customer requirements.
Print labels for kits
Mark assemblies using stamping environment
Follow work instructions to complete marking operations
Document part number, lot, and batch
Serialize components and document serialization
Understand how to utilize marking equipment
Communicates issues with instructions or equipment to supervision and support departments
Performs other tasks and duties as assigned to support business goals and objectives
Essential Skills and Experience:
Enjoys repetitive and routine work
Demonstrates flexibility in juggling work priorities throughout the day; enjoys a variety in daily functions
Customer service oriented and effective interpersonal and communication skills
Strong computer skills with the ability to demonstrate high attention to detail and focus
Fine manual dexterity skills and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
Ability to read and comprehend work and process instructions, data sheets, standard measurements and ERP systems
Able to work with various chemicals and trained or willing to be trained in chemical spill clean-up
Able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment when handling chemical supplies
Ability to work additional hours as required
Hours 6:00 am – 3:30 pm, 9/80 Monday through Thursday; Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm every other Friday with additional hours as needed
