BNSF Logistics is a technology and people-driven third-party logistics company that delivers what matters - to our people, our customers, our carriers, and our communities.The EPLT Sales intern will rotate throughout the sales teams within our Engineering, Procurement, Logistics & Transport (EPLT) department during the course of this 10-week experience. You will take part in meaningful work and this experience will help you grow both professionally and personally.

*May be located in Dallas, TX or Springdale, AR*

Primary Functions:

The EPLT Sales intern will work alongside the EPLT Sales team to take part in activities such as: business development (prospecting, discovery, solutions development, sales presentation & sales closure), customer relationship management (QBRs, sales growth such as cross selling of additional BNSF Logistics service lines), and will learn about the various solutions provided by the Company. The intern will have exposure to the sales process in support of customized solutions such as rail, heavy haul/over dimensional, maritime and multimodal services to current and prospective customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in business, sales, supply chain or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills to interact with internal and external customers
  • A high level of interest in learning and desire for coaching
