What You'll Do:
Partner with the President of the Global technology practice to design and execute a growth strategy for the San Francisco office/technology practice
Serve as an integral member of the global client relationship team addressing the varied and changing needs of your clients, proactively leading them in changing times with solid counsel and program creation that address business and marketing objectives
Consult. Maintain a big-picture strategic view of your clients' business, encompassing business goals, competitive issues, and constituent considerations, along with the breadth of ever-changing communication tools and techniques to tell your clients' stories and achieve their goals
Create, author, and sell in client and prospective client plans with senior management
Working with our strategists and creative team (Golin's g4 model), leverage existing Golin planning, research, and creative tools
Hold and set a high bar for smart and sound ideas, flawless execution, and outstanding, measurable results from all of your team members
Set and manage the budget, manage timely billing and reporting, and utilize team members' time efficiently (from all specialty groups)
Stay on top of industry best practices, client and competitor brand activity, and ensure Golin delivers game-changing ideas and solutions
Anticipate client needs and requests and serve them before asked; nimbly adapt plans and tactics to changes and opportunities in the world around us
Build a strong, connected, and engaging team who are inspired to do great work and the agencies culture
What You Have:
16+ years of experience in the public relations or communications-related field, emphasis on the technology sector
The highly respected leader with proven success in building and managing teams to achieve challenging objectives in the US and internationally
Strong commercial business acumen with excellent business strategy and planning ability, motivating growth, expansion, and employee retention
Robust relationship builder with an ability to work across global teams, multiple cultures, and leadership styles to grow and retain high performing teams
Ability to formulate effective strategic plans, establish trust, and influence a wide variety of individuals, executives, and groups to accomplish organizational objectives in complex and fast-paced organizations
A deep understanding of the technology industry and its ecosystem of influencers across both B2B and B2C brands
Experienced in designing integrated marketing campaigns across North America, Asia, and Europe that deliver tangible business results for our clients
