Company: 001 - NORTH DIVISION Location: 3S450_IL-59 Warrenville, IL 60555, US Employment Status: Temporary Christine Susan Croteau Beacon Building Products is seeking a hard-working student intern to assist with analysis functions within our Local Branch Operations Team. The Intern would support the Branch team working on miscellaneous projects and review of existing processes and come up with solutions to improve results for our company as well as our customers. The student intern will gain experience across many aspects of distribution for the building supply industry and will learn about one of the world's leading distributor of building suppliers. This role will be full time during the summer. The primary responsibilities include: * Organizing, formatting, and maintaining Excel data into usable reports for analysis * Gaining hands on practical experience in wholesale distribution business model. * Will be exposed to several facets of our business from operations to functional support to help gain understanding * Work with internal team members to review processes and identify improvement opportunities * Work with internal team members to work on proposed solutions * Assisting in various miscellaneous projects, training set up etc. This intern program has been highly successful at giving valuable experience to students as well as providing potential long-term opportunities within the company. Desired Experience * Available full-time up to 40 hours during summer * Minimum of 2 years college completion and currently enrolled in a four-year degree producing program. * Proficient in Excel and Data analytical tools * Business, Sales, Marketing, Accounting, or Supply Chain majors preferred * Must be hard-working, responsible, and reliable * Must be able to think critically to solve daily issues * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Beacon Building Products (Nasdaq: BECN) is the largest publicly traded distributor of residential and non-residential roofing materials in the United States and Canada.
