Academy of Art University is hiring Jewelry & Metal Arts Technicians for the 2019 Fall Semester (now until December 21st). This is a seasonal and part-time position working up to 40 hours per week only during the fall semester. To learn more about the School of Jewelry & Metal Arts, .

Job Description:

  • Issue and recover tools for students and Instructors.
  • Clean, repair and maintain all tools.
  • Clean and maintain machinery in the studios.
  • Take inventory of all tools and supplies.
  • Provide assistance to diverse student body as well as Faculty.

Requirements:

  • Must have working knowledge of a variety of jewelry and metal arts tools and equipment and be safety-minded.
  • Previous jewelry and metal arts experience required. Welding experience is a plus.
  • Must have prior customer service experience and be able to effectively provide support and communicate important policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
