Low-Voltage Superintendent (OSP) Duties:
- Field Supervise employees, direct and monitor their daily work and performances.
- Coordination with subcontractors on deliverables.
- Oversees equipment to ensure proper usage, care, & maintenance.
- Maintain daily record keeping of operations.
Low-Voltage Superintendent (OSP) Requirements:
3-5yrs experience in supervising field employees. Individuals must be able to resolve problems with administration and plant systems when they occur.
Low-Voltage Superintendent (OSP) Pay:
$52,000.00 - $62,500.00 (Salary) per year contingent on experience/performance.
Low-Voltage Superintendent (OSP) Essential Job Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and understand contract documents, drawings and specifications, as well as understand building systems, construction materials, OSP design and engineering concepts applicable to data & telecommunications infrastructure projects
- Perform site visits, surveys and document existing conditions, as well as develop a plan for manpower and equipment through scheduling
- Work in collaboration with a network of subcontractors and material suppliers, to guarantee best value pricing, timely estimates and quality of work available on every project
- Familiar with Outside Plant (OSP) construction methods and recommendations relative to copper, fiber-optic installations, aerial, directional boring, backhoe, trenching, and plowing operations as well as digger and bucket truck operations
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 3-5 years successful experience as an Outside Plant Field Superintendent, or similar position
- Valid Driver’s License is required with clean driving record
- A combination of technical training and experience is required, a degree in a related field is a plus but not required
- Experience in proposal development and projects for and/or customer experience with federal, state, local governments and commercial installations
- Basic Computer Skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
