THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES As an Implementation Specialist Intern in our North America Operations organization, you will work collaboratively with the order management team to help with delivery of requests as well as managing and reporting on request as they come in. Tasks during the 10 weeks will have a direct impact on Lumen and growth of the business organization. We will need an eager individual who is a quick learner to be able to assist Order Managers with daily functions such as pulling reports, managing orders, and managing C2C escalation cases. The ideal intern will have technical skills with common languages in the industry. You will need a high level of engagement and ability to take initiative, ask questions and work in a team environment. - Manage set amount of orders - Oversee process of orders from intake to testing to implementation - Conduct research on orders and review data - Test new orders to see if successful - Help teammates to ensure orders are fulfilled on time WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A CANDIDATE - Education Requirements - Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising junior or senior education status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2022 May 2024. - Major/Degree: Pursuing a degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Marketing, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field - Proficiency and understanding of: - Microsoft Suites - Excel, Teams, and outlook email are a must - Professional Attributes - Strong drive for results and taking initiative - Intrinsically motivated to meet deadlines and achieve goals - Extreme attention to detail - Ability to self-manage day to day work - Ability to collaborate and have agility while making effective decisions - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Must be a self-starter to succeed in this role - Work Setting - Ideally the position will be in one of the following offices: Broomfield, CO or remote - Intern must be able to work 30-40 hours be week during the 10-week program (June August) - Intern must have reliable transportation to/from work location if not remote (Lumen does not provide transportation to/from Lumen office locations) WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT After completion and submission of your application, you will be asked to participate in a virtual video interview.
