Your Role

The Creative Studio Content team concepts and writes all engagement and mandated communications that are sent to our members throughout the year. The Creative Writer, Senior will report to the Senior Manager, Content Studio. In this role you will craft clever copy and concepts to catch someone's attention across email, direct mail, out of home and more to help them make the most of their health plan.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Write communications based on instructions from internal clients throughout the company, according to brand and style guidelines
  • Incorporate client feedback and Legal Department feedback on subsequent drafts
  • Revise and/or edit communications developed outside our department, making consistent with brand and style guidelines
  • Educate peers, stakeholders, and other business groups about the brand and the department, through creative brief reviews, copy feedback, consultations, and training sessions
  • Generates concepts and copy directions based on insights from creative briefs
  • Works with Art Directors, Production Designers, Brand Strategists, and other marketing specialists to create attention-grabbing campaigns and tactical executions
  • Champions the brand identity and provides a strategic point of view on verbal brand expression issues
  • Ensures copy is effective, impactful, and on brand to help the creative team's strategic competency

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Carefully curated portfolio, showcasing innovative concepts and pithy headlines and copy
  • Strong concepting, brainstorming, and collaborating abilities
  • Self-motivated creative contributor who also thrives in a team environment, collaborating with other creatives and business partner
  • Language, communication, and copywriting core competencies
  • Is strategic in approach and enjoys thinking outside the box
