Academy of Art University is seeking a talented and creative Digital Video Producer to manage a variety of video production needs for the University's online learning environment. Primary responsibilities include pre-production, directing, shooting and editing. This position works directly with Instructors, fellow video professionals and instructional designers to create engaging and informative video content for online classes. The Academy's next Digital Video Producer must be able to develop an exciting and innovative approach to production. Additional responsibilities include:

• Manage and maintain the overall quality and execution of educational videos from project beginning to completion
• Clearly communicate and justify production choices to the creative team
• Adapt with continually evolving technologies, styles and standards
• Demonstrate and maintain enthusiasm to work with industry-leading artists to produce exceptional video content
• Demonstrate and maintain an extensive understanding of all aspects of video production

Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of related professional experience with directing, filming and editing
• Must have experience with DSLR Workflow as well as Adobe Creative Cloud and Premiere software
• Experience with multi-camera filming is highly preferred
• Live shooting experience is highly preferred
• Must be able to manage priorities and meet multiple deadlines
• Must communicate ideas clearly and provide creative direction as needed
• Must be able to consistently lift up to 50lbs. and sit and/or stand for long periods of time
• Must provide a reel of completed digital projects
