Student Services Advisors primarily communicate with students by phone and through email. The Academy is seeking candidates that enjoy this type of communication, who have a strong sense of organization and time management, have high adaptability, enjoy working with others and can manage multiple priorities with ease.

What You'll Achieve:

• Support student retention through proactive outreach by phone and email
• Set students up for success by assisting with registration
• Connect students to Academy of Art University resources
• Become well-versed in the Academy's curriculum
• Think outside the box and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
• Gain database skills in Salesforce and PeopleSoft
• Improve communication skills over the phone and email

Qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor's degree
• Previous experience working with students in higher education preferred
• Passionate about student success and higher education
• Empathetic, patient and positive
• Excellent phone and written communication skills
• Able to thrive in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment
• Salesforce experience is a plus
