Job Description: The Distribution division is charged with generating revenue and increasing distribution for A&E, History Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network, Bio, History International, Lifetime Real Women, Crime & Investigation Network, Military History and History en éspaol. The distribution team works with cable, telco, and satellite providers to make sure all A+E brands are fully distributed in the market. We're seeking an Intern with the following characteristics and skill set in addition to day-to-day administrative assistance: *Ability to work well with sales and marketing teams on presentation development. * Research and packaging of respective distributors. * Research of use of new media platforms for distribution. *Possess excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization *Strong interpersonal skills *Self-starter and motivated. *Can easily multi task and manage multiple projects *Organized and deadline sensitive *Knowledge of Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) *Must be a college undergraduate who is entering their sophomore year in 2012 or graduate students having completed at least one semester of post graduate work *Student must have interest in the industry and/or a specific area of interest through past work experience, internships, and/or major course of study. |
