Position Description

We're looking for an energetic and motivated Team Lead Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is passionate about technology and enjoys managing a small team that engages prospective customers.

The right candidate will engage with all levels of an organization and be able to describe our solutions in a simple and meaningful way. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee a small team of SDRs
  • Act as a liaison in communicating expectations set forth by management
  • Confidently train and guide SDR team on role function
  • Prospect to find new opportunities
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales on mid-market accounts
  • Qualify and respond to daily inbound marketing leads (MQLs)
  • Research and maintain a deep understanding of key accounts
  • Develop a deep understanding of how LiveAction's products can help organizations across the world monitor and diagnose issues across their network
  • Take incoming calls from customers who are interested in our product and process these orders to complete the sale
  • Provide remarkable customer service in assisting customers during evaluation, quotes, new account creations, coordinating with channel partners, and closing sales
  • Engage and cultivate relationships with key decision makers and represent the front line of LiveAction's sales team
  • Work closely with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) to identify sales targets, initiatives, and penetrate new accounts
  • Work closely with channel partners when necessary to do call sessions and maximize the relationships we have built over the years
  • Continually keep up with current network visualization trends, companies, news releases, and other competitive information
  • Daily use of SalesForce (SFDC)

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree in related field
  • Must possess leadership qualities
  • 2 years of sales experience
  • Network Management and/or Network Security experience preferred
  • High call volume, fast-paced phone sales environment
  • Comfortable dealing with a global customer base and interacting in a diverse and multicultural environment
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone and call someone they have never spoken to
  • Must be highly competitive, open, and have a willingness to learn
  • Have a go-getter attitude
  • Able to optimize performance, results, and thrive under pressure
  • Excellent active-listening skills
  • Excellent phone communication skills
