The DoubleTree by Hilton Berkeley Marina is looking for a Catering Sales Manager to join their team!

What you bring to the table:

  • You make the magic happen for our guests' social events and weddings
  • Engage and anticipate the needs of customers with poise
  • Great attention to detail - you sweat the small stuff
  • 2+ years in selling, booking, or organizing social events (i.e. weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthdays, memorials, etc.)
  • You want to ensure your events run smoothly and your guests are happy, so working some evenings and weekends is not a deal-breaker for you
  • Bonus points if you are familiar with using Delphi and Social Tables

What you'll be doing day to day:

  • Meet and greet clients, conduct property tours, and promote facilities and services
  • Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Develop client menus, write contracts and letters, as well as organize all other arrangements as they relate to social events.
  • Supervise and attend the overall set up and implementation of events and meetings. Communicate to relevant departments to ensure proper service of accounts.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly Catering/Sales reports.
Qualifications

Experience
2 years: Catering Sales (required)
