Job Description
The purpose of this position is to provide laboratory support for the conduct of labs in the Biology Department at the post baccalaureate level and requires several years of experience in a biological laboratory. The incumbent provides the primary prep support for the lower division labs in Organismal Biology, and Evolution and Ecology. Upper division primary assignments include Invertebrate Zoology, Animal Behavior, Evolutionary Ecology of Terrestrial Vertebrates. The incumbent participates in the supervision (does not include hiring or disciplinary action) of the daily activities of the student assistants and Limited Status employees and is responsible for the Prep Room during absences of the Supervisor and SRA II.

The full salary range for the Lab Assistant 3 is $24.77 - $29.49 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
