We are looking for a Vice President of Merchandise Planning and Inventory Management for our US and Canada business. You will lead the team responsible for developing and executing merchandise plansaligned with Levi's overall strategy. The primary goal of you will be responsible for is optimizing sales, margin, and inventory turnover through effective planning,forecasting, and inventory management. You will also play an important role in the transformation of Planning capabilitiesincluding processes, systems, and ways of working.

About the Job
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement merchandise planning strategies aligned with our financialgoals, market trends, and customer demand
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to the merchandise planning and inventory managementteams. Be a positive and solution-oriented role model encouraging a collaborative and high performance work culture
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other departments such as marketing, sales, finance, and operationsto ensure alignment and effective execution of merchandise plans
  • Technology and Tools: Leverage and implement appropriate planning tools, systems, and technology to enhance themerchandise planning process and improve efficiency
  • Execution of Business Processes:
    • Financial Analysis: Analyze sales trends, margin performance, and other key metrics to identify opportunities and risks
    • Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors to forecast demand accurately
    • Assortment Planning: Collaborate with merchandising team to create comprehensive assortment plans that meet customer needs, align with brand identity, and maximize profitability
    • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and distribution across various channels and store formats to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory
About You
  • At least 10 years leading a successful planning team at a senior level.
  • Experience developing and implementing merchandise planning strategies aligned with the company's financial objectives, market trends, and customer demand.
  • Experience leading an omni channel business including wholesale, Ecommerce and DTC.
  • Experience building strategy with efficiency and effectiveness by imporved measurement/processes/systems/planning at scale.
  • Experience leading large teams providing guidance, mentorship and career development.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $210,500 to $326,900. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
