Duties:
Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques and Continuous process improvement. Improve process by eliminating waste and maximizing the output by optimizing and streamlining process flow. Support daily production control meetings to track and identify adherence to customer priorities. Coordinate efforts with the operations team to resolve bottlenecks, machine maintenance, manpower issues, tools, programs, and shop capacity that could impact the schedule. Communicate across multiple departments to effectively coordinate operations and address issues between manufacturing, engineering, and any other departments which influence schedule. Monitor and drive factory execution to priorities. Support data building and reporting to track manufacturing float, efficiency, and utilization to enable accurate planning and mitigate risks. Build and track weekly metric charts and focus on KPIs to meet delivery performance targets. Work with the process engineering team to identify and correct inaccurate routings. Work with material planner and warehouse teams to ensure appropriate raw material is in stock. Drive Six Sigma and Lean improvements in production scheduling and operations execution.

Education Required: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
Experience Required: 2 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer or in a related occupation.

Special Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:

1. Implementing lean manufacturing methodologies, process improvements, and 6S (5S + Safety) tool to improve product quality and optimize production rate.
2. Implementing CAPA (corrective and preventive actions) to eliminate defects in manufacturing processes, increase first pass yield, and reduce reworks.
3. Creating performance and efficiency analysis reports for high runner designs for WIP prioritization to achieve on time delivery.
4. Developing Poka-Yoke (mistake proofing) techniques to eliminate human errors and reduce damage handling throughout the line.
5. Creating ECN (Engineering Change Notice), OPL (One Point Lesson), SOP's (standard operating procedures), and work instructions for corrective actions and streamlining process flow.
6. Identifying and initiating technical projects and programs to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase output.

The pay range for this role in Livermoore, CA is between $111,072 and $135,700. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
