Responsibilities

It's an exciting time to join Keysight's EDA Organization! This position is for a Senior Business Process Analyst position in the EDA organization. This role requires strong analytical skills coupled with excellent communication with internal partners. The successful candidate will be expert in detailed financial analytics and modeling, summarizing business results and insights to business performance.

  • Financial Planning and Reporting / Month-End-Close Support - work closely with the EDA controller to support month-end close, forecasting and planning processes. Responsible for the financial consolidation of different groups within EDA and analysis/reporting of EDA results. Support business processes and ensure that they comply with financial policies and controls.
  • Oversight of detailed operating expense plans for R&D and Marketing. This includes supporting EDA senior managers, providing expense forecasts and analysis of actuals vs forecast/plan, tracking headcount and doing expense accruals.
  • Support Keysight-wide software initiatives, including financial modeling, reporting / forecasting, and consulting with business teams on operational improvements and projects.
  • Process / Capability Improvement Projects - support decision making on investment strategies for products, analysis of key market drivers, business profitability, and resource allocation.
  • Provides consulting to businesses on process and operational improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  • Headcount: tracking, forecasting, monthly reporting, ad hoc report outs, including detailed cost tracking of full time and temp headcount.
  • Operating Expenses: forecasting, tracking, researching, ad hoc reporting and analysis for all functions.
  • Month end responsibilities:
  • Drive bottoms-up analysis to meet tops-down targets.
  • Monthly Journal Vouchers, PO accruals, Cap-Ex, Travel Expense management.
  • Supporting VP, Functional Managers, and Controller with data for multiple management report outs (QBR, MBR, SPR, BFT, Coffee Talk).
  • Incorporating acquisitions into EDA management reporting framework.
  • Regular attendance in EDA staff meetings and presenting HC, Travel, Expense topics.
  • Quarterly R&D Investment Summary by portfolio.
  • Tools: Excel, OneStream, MSTR, Oracle, MU Hierarchy.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, etc.
  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2-5 years relevant work experience in Financial analysis and Planning.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and summarize insights.
  • Strong Excel and Oracle/business intelligence systems expertise.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with experience building financial and decision support models.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills. Ability to influence results through internal partners.

California Pay Range: MIN $96,930.00 - MAX $161,540.00
