Overview

The Facilities Clerk will pick up and deliver mail, small packages, medical record files, and cash deposits between LifeLong Medical Care clinic sites in Oakland, Berkeley, San Pablo, Richmond, Pinole and Rodeo

This is a full time, 40 hours/week, benefits eligible position.

LifeLong Medical Care is a large, multi-site, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a rich history of providing innovative healthcare and social services to a wonderfully diverse patient community. Benefits

COVID-19 Vaccine Policy

In accordance with LifeLong Medical Care's commitment to provide and maintain a workplace that is free of known hazards, we have adopted a Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccine Policy to safeguard the health of our employees and their families; our patients and visitors; and the community at large from infectious diseases, that vaccinations may reduce. This policy will comply with all applicable laws and is based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Order of the California State Public Health Officer. Unless a reasonable medical or religious accommodation is approved, all employees must receive COVID-19 vaccinations.

Responsibilities
    Pick up cash and checks (co-pay) from the clinics and bring to Finance Department at the LifeLong Administrative Office (Admin).
  • Pick up incoming mail from post office and interoffice mails from all LifeLong sites.
  • Sort incoming mail according to predetermined routes.
  • Place incoming post office mail and interoffice mail to individual mail slots at Admin for staff pick-ups.
  • Meter the outgoing letters and send them to the post office.
  • Deliver interoffice mail to all LifeLong sites.
  • Miscellaneous pick-up and delivery jobs as time allows.
  • Respond to inquiries from staff regarding all mail services.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Valid Diver license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Current insurance coverage
