Medical Director (Psychiatrist) - Sage House MHRC

Medical Director - Part Time 18 Hours/Week - Monday - Friday + call

Compensation -

Expected starting Employee wage range is $155 to $193 an hour

Contracted rate is $201 to $252 an hour.

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Medical Director is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the medical and psychiatric care provided at the facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that the care provided is consistent with best practice and meets Telecare's standards of excellence.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

  • A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in the treatment of adults with serious mental illness, including those with comorbid medical and/or substance use disorders
  • A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry
  • An active California Medical License, in good standing

    Sage House is a licensed 16-bed mental health rehabilitation center (MHRC) serving San Mateo County residents, 18-59, with long histories of mental illness and multiple episodes of acute psychiatric hospitalization. This program is projected to open in May 2024.
