WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

The Business Development team drives partnerships and strategic initiatives that play an outsized role in differentiating and scaling Box. We work closely with external partners and across functions to identify, build, and manage enterprise partnerships and product integrations, fostering innovation and a vibrant ecosystem that yield customer value. As part of this entrepreneurial and results-oriented team, you will have an opportunity to define game-changing partnerships and the critical work that enable them.

We're looking for an experienced business development and partnership professional to run and evolve Box's extensive technology partner ecosystem and accelerate relationships with leading enterprise software companies. You will develop and execute partnership strategies and their underlying operations, influence and launch new SaaS integrations, and evangelize them to go-to-market teams.

This role will report to the Director responsible for our technology partner ecosystem, and will collaborate closely with Box and leaders in business development, product management, engineering, legal, marketing, public relations, and customer-facing organizations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead Box's partner operations strategy, and continuously improve partner programs and operations, and develop new ways to scale how Box runs its technology partner ecosystems
  • Deepen key partner relationships with global software companies, with the goal of maximizing customer value and integration adoption
  • Establish and oversee key performance indicators to measure the success, impact, and health of Box's partner ecosystem
  • Identify, motivate, and guide partners to integrate with Box in efficient, novel ways based on customer needs, market changes, competitive threats, solution gaps, and strategic opportunities
  • Support the creation of new ecosystems that align to and extend Box native capabilities in a targeted way
  • Manage the technology partner lifecycle from executing agreements, onboarding apps, and enabling go-to-market teams to grow and expand partnerships that drive customer value
  • Drive awareness and adoption of partner integrations through targeted communications, such as presentations, newsletters, blog posts, webinars, and events
  • Represent Box to partners, customers, and external audiences of all types in various forums, from high-profile meetings to conferences and trade shows

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are experienced in managing and running large scale technology partner programs, and in defining and executing partner their underlying operations
  • You have a passion for finding common ground and are excited by the process of building strong relationships with new and existing partners
  • You are a strategic, analytical thinker with exceptional communication skills, a bias toward action, and an ownership mentality
  • You are equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet as you are at ten feet, and enjoy getting into the weeds to streamline processes and also painting the big picture
  • You exhibit a strong product sense and have some experience working with technical stakeholders and applying an understanding of partner integrations, API-based integrations, and user-facing products
  • You have proven experience in successfully leading complex, long-term projects while collaborating with functional internal and external stakeholders
  • You have 4+ years of experience in managing partners and programs at an enterprise SaaS or software company and a track record of results with unequivocal integrity
  • You have a bachelor's degree, and preferably also an MBA or other post graduate degree
