Job Description
Reporting to the Industrial Hygiene Program Manager for the Environmental Health and Safety department, the Industrial Hygiene Specialist will be responsible for supporting various industrial hygiene programs. The incumbent will assist with the respirator qualification process, perform and oversee fume hood and local exhaust ventilation testing, conduct asbestos and lead surveys, maintain industrial hygiene equipment, respond to indoor air quality concerns, and provide support for various industrial hygiene programs developed to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control risks associated with workplace hazards.

The full salary range for the Asbestos and Lead Specialist is $30.80 - $54.74 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $30.80 - $42.77 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
