BASIC PURPOSE
Part Time Janitor position to wash/clean, mop, vacuum, wipe down and dust as explained by Corps Officers to keep corps building, building surrounding, parking lot and parking lot surroundings clean.
The Part Time Janitor position will help kitchen-help need includes rice-cooking and hot water/tea/coffee preparing and help holiday and special event preparing, keep cleanliness of kitchen and dining area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean designated areas as directed by supervisor.
- Rice-cooking and water/tea/coffee preparing and serving meal to Senior Lunch Program.
- Working hours: (lunch time 30 minutes no pay) Working day or time may adjustable depend on the need and events based on-call.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma
- Mandarin or English speaking prefer has ability to speak English and basic writing the English language.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong ability to utilize a high level of time management and handling multiple tasks
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis
- Ability to grasp, push, and/or pull objects
- Ability to reach overhead
- Ability to operate telephone
- Ability to lift - up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to process written, visual, and/or verbal information
- Ability to operate or learn basic office equipment and tools PC, Fax Machine, Telephone, Calculator, Copier, Printer and office equipment etc.
